Harlem Bespoke: There was a parking lot at the corner of 150th Street on Convent Avnenue but we noticed recently that a new construction was rising quickling on the Sugar Hill site. Doing some research on the DOB website reveals that there actually was a gas station here at some point in time and paperwork for the building had been applied for three years ago.
Everything received the green light last year and now three floors have already gone up. The 8-story building should easily finish up by next year and 20 apartments will arrive in the neighborhood. Seeing that this is such an ideal location, we expect possibly condo units for sale and not a rental situation.
