Harlem Bespoke: We always take a shortcut through City College just below West 140th and Convent Avenue when possible but noticed the clock tower for the first time last week. The clock itself appears to be fully functioning since the current time was on display when we walked by. Not everyone had smart phones over a century ago so having public reminders of the current time was sort of thing but is less important these days. With that said, the charm of it all is quite endearing and we highly recommend taking a look up when walking through the campus grounds. Check out our past post for a historic photo of City College:
