SHOP: KFC COMING SOON TO 125TH STREET

Harlem Bespoke:  The days of chicken dominance on 125th Street by Popeyes might just be over by the end of summer if KFC has any say in it.  We noticed the Colonel's face peeping from a building just west of Adam Clayton Powell yesterday and it turns out KFC signage just went up at the former Starbucks space that shuttered a couple of years back. Kentucky Fried Chicken made American fried chicken an international favorite decades ago before Popeyes started gaining popularity and the new store makes it a point with World Famous Chicken written out front for all to see.  With all that said, 125th Street is definitely Manhattan's main commercial corridor north of 110th Street and notable chains such as Whole Foods, Starbucks, Red Lobster and Trader Joe's have arrived or plan on opening soon: LINK
