RENT: TWO BEDROOM BY WEST 145TH STREET
Harlem Bespoke: So the average in Manhattan rent for a non-doorman studio went up a couple of hundred this past summer to a whopping $2,343 a month but those living uptown can save thousands each year since deals can still be found. In the past week, a prewar two-bedroom at 2509 Adam Clayton Powell by 145th Street has been listed for $1,875 a month. This no-fee rental has recently been renovated and is a block away from the 145th Street express subway station on Lenox. Restaurants, cafes and the supermarket are all close by. With that said, this prewar apartment is probably a walk-up situation so might not be for everyone. More details and contact information on Streeteasy: LINK
