So when we think of size, IMAX comes to mind but what is the biggest floor-to-ceiling theater to be found near uptown? Luckily it is just a short subway ride away at the Lincoln Square theater on Broadway by 68th Street which coincidentally has the largest IMAX screen in the country and the 8-story Wonder of the World is the dimension of prewar tenement building. We have actually been supporting the return to theater movement and can say that proof of vaccination has probably helped business to get back to normal since movie goers feel safer now venturing out to experience much needed escapism. With that said, reserve seating also makes it easy and online platforms such as Fandango.com streamlines the planning of the big day. Our favorite seats for this 600-seat IMAX theater is towards the middle around row G or H but some folks prefer seats further back since the screen is so gigantic.

SEE: THE NEAREST & LARGEST UPTOWN IMAX
Harlem Bespoke: One of the highly anticipated movie arrivals of the year is the big screen adaption of Dune which officially previews today at local theaters and is a cinematic debut that has to be seen on the large screen to fully appreciate the craftsmanship. At last month's world premier during the Venice Film Festival, Dune received a seven minute standing ovation because of the sheer breathtaking visionary scope of the film. It has been called a once-in-a-lifetime accomplishment in filmmaking so going to the theater is a definitely must for this one.
