Harlem Bespoke: So the average in Manhattan rent for a
non-doorman studio went up a couple of hundred this past summer to a
whopping $2,343 a month but those living uptown can save thousands each year since deals can still be found.
In the past week, a prewar

510 West 150th Street by Amsterdam Avenue in Hamilton Heights has been listed for $2,095 a month. This
no-fee rental has recently been renovated and comes with an additional one month free. This location is also just 4 block away from the express subway station entrance at 147th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Restaurants, cafes and the supermarket are all close by on the Broadway commercial corridor. With that said, this prewar apartment is probably a walk-up situation so might not be for everyone.
