SEE: PORTRAITS OF MY COMMUNITY AT MORRIS-JUMEL

On View October 7, 2021 - January 3, 2022, Portraits of My Community at Morris-Jumel Mansion park, 65 Jumel Terrace, between 160th and 161st Street.  Felipe Galindo Feggo's Portraits of My Community features a selection of mixed-media artworks portraying the people of Harlem, Washington Heights, and Inwood. The project celebrates the intertwining of cultures in Upper Manhattan neighborhoods, presenting a social commentary on the diversity, beauty, and resilience of longtime residents, newcomers, and immigrants.    See the free event outdoors at the Morris-Jumel gardens and remember to socially distance at any public event.  This exhibition will be on view during the museum’s public hours, Thursday to Sunday, 11:00 - 5:00pm. Free admission is available by booking on the official MJM eventbrite page: LINK
