Harlem Bespoke: All of the planting for the newly restored Montefiore Park in Hamilton Heights between 136th and 138th Street and Broadway has finished early but everything is still gated off. Construction started back in 2018 and one of the key features is that the street on the east side of the uptown green space has now totally been filled in with a row of trees. Less car traffic, safer blocks for kids to play in and cleaner air are all a big win for this park expansion in the neighborhood which also features a tiered grassy patch of land on the north end. All the vegetation will take root over the winter season and expect this new edition to debut by early springtime next year. Check out the original rendering in our past post: LINK
