Harlem Bespoke: We have been covering the restoration efforts of the old P.S. 85 building in El Barrio at East 117th Street and 1st Avenue
since 2014 and currently the 90-unit development is offering up a few affordable units through the housing lottery.
Somehow the name got changed to East River Lofts but now there will be 27 apartments available in the middle range as far as NYC rentals go. Studios rents start at $1,700 a month, one-bedrooms for $2,300 a month and two-bedrooms go for $2,800 a month. Income caps start off at $108K annually so a large majority of people will qualify. Applications are due by
