Harlem Bespoke: Outdoor restaurant seating in Harlem only really took off about 10 years ago and some of our older photos taken in the neighborhood show this dramatic change. The perfume store on the corner of 126th and Lenox shuttered sometimes after 2010 but by 2012 the Lenox Social announced that they would be arriving on the boulevard. There was a bit of drama back in the day because the owner of the now-gone Lenox Lounge had an issue with Lenox being used in the name of the two establishments. So Lenox Social took the high road and quickly changed to Corner Social and has since been a popular gathering spot in the neighborhood. More on the story can be found in our past post: LINK
