As can be seen from the rendering, 88 East 127th Street will be an 18-story building with lots of retro prewar details included. We especially like the multi-pane industrial windows which are really coming back these days and the brickwork has a lot of character too. Another good point of interest here is that this was an empty parcel of land and not a historic building being tear down situation. A completion date is set for Winter 2023 so things should really be moving quickly by the summertime. Everyone appears to be investing in the east side these days since the Second Avenue Subway connection might be finishing up on 125th Street within a decade if everything works out.

CONSTRUCTION: 88 EAST 127TH BREAKS GROUND
Harlem Bespoke: Construction around the east side is starting to pick up once again and we noticed that a former parking lot between East 126th and East 127th Street on Park Avenue had a lot of activity going on. Diggers were actually on site breaking ground and the plywood around the block revealed the mix use building that will be arriving soon.
