Harlem Bespoke: The first Lidl in Manhattan has finally announced the opening date of the Harlem location on Frederick Douglass by 118th Street.
Next Wednesday, February 23rd is the official debut date according to the website and those holding their breaths for an affordable alternative to
Trader Joe's do not have to wait any longer. The ribbon cutting will be around 8:00AM on opening day and expect free gifts to be handed out for the first 100 to arrive. Lidl is less private label driven but the prices are similar which everyone in Harlem will be able to appreciate. There was a little bit of delay because of the pandemic but thankfully the retailer pulled through for the neighborhood. More on the Lidl opening can be found on the website:
