WHAT IS HAPPENING AT 52-54 EAST 126TH STREET?
Harlem Bespoke: A set of brownstones on East 126th Street between Madison and Park had been demolished a few years ago and we only saw recently that there was some activity at this 52-54 East 126th Street. Restoration was never planned for some reason and now a rendering reveals what the new building will look like if all goes according to plan.
Interestingly enough, the new designs kind of looks likes a modern take on brownstones and is not much taller than the original historic buildings in the neighborhood. Permits on the front fence of the site show that 21 units will be available once things finish up and we read previously that senior housing might be the main component here. Check out what the intact block looked like before in our previous post: LINK
