Harlem Bespoke: We were walking around in Hamilton Heights this week and noticed some new signage at a storefront on Amsterdam by West 148th Street. Everything was actually just printed on the makeshift outdoor dining tent on the sidewalk but something looked really familiar here.
After a closer inspection, we realized that this was the location for the Venezuelan restaurant Barepas and everything is pretty much intact within. Apparently the owners decided to change the direction of the eatery since their instagram account is the same but with the title of Casa D'La Pasta in the header. We will miss the really great arepas that was served up here but Italian food looks to be more of a sure bet for uptowners these days. More on the previous menu can be found in our past post:
