Harlem Bespoke: The last time we checked on the Brotherhood Sister Sol building construction at 513 West 143rd Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway, the glass was just started to be installed back in October. We walked by today and noticed that everything was complete out front and the crew on site was currently dismantling the sidewalk shed for the big reveal.
As mentioned previously, the geometric vessel shaped building is the new headquarters for the children’s educational nonprofit which used to be in an old brownstone at this location but was torn down to make way for this much larger development. Foundation work finished up over the summer of 2020 and now it appears that everything is about to be ready by the time April rolls around. Check out the original design sketch in our past post:
