LISTEN: HARLEM CHAMBER PLAYERS AT THE SCHOMBURG
Friday, April 22nd, 7:00PM-8:00PM, Gateway Music Festival at the Schomburg, 515 Lenox at the corner of 135th Street. The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, in partnership with the Gateways Music Festival, is proud to present the Harlem Chamber Players at the Langston Hughes Auditorium. Curated by Harlem Chamber Players’ Artistic Advisor Terrance McKnight and founder and Executive & Artistic Director Liz Player, the program features works by composers of African descent performed by the renowned Harlem Chamber Players String Quartet (Ashley Horne, Claire Chan, violin; William Frampton, viola; and Wayne Smith, cello), soprano Kearstin Piper Brown, flutist Brandon Patrick George, violinist Joshua Henderson, pianist David Berry and narrator Terrance
