Harlem Bespoke: The major renovations at Montefiore Square Park on Broadway by 137th Street finished up during wintertime and now the newly planted trees are finally all green with fresh leaves. We took the above photos this week and the tiered seating looks fantastic but not too many folks are hanging out as of yet since the weather is still pretty chilly.
We especially love the trend of taking back the streets since everything was extended to the far east side of the block and that part of Hamilton Place is now only for pedestrian traffic. The $15.5 million renovations broke ground back in 2019 and now everything is ready for the warmer seasons ahead. Check out what the site looked like this past December when everything was first finished up and not so verdant:
