The Godfather film restoration
Tribeca Film Festival debut at United Palace at 4150 Broadway by West 175th Street. Monthly movies have returned to United Palace for the first time since the pandemic started two years ago and the historic movie theater will be part of the Tribeca Film Festival in June.
This year the Academy Award-winning masterpiece, The Godfather, celebrates its 50th anniversary. Considered by many to be one of the greatest films of all time, the movie follows the saga of the Corleone crime family led by Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando), then later his son Michael (Al Pacino). Tribeca will screen a restoration of the film with an introduction by star Al Pacino. More details on the premier and advance ticket sales on the Tribeca Film Festival site:
