DWELL: 10 WEST 130TH STREET SOLD IN JULY
Harlem Bespoke: One of the most unique historic blocks in all of Manhattan is located at Astor Row which is technically West 130th Street between Fifth & Lenox and has always been attractive to homebuyers. Recently a gut renovated single-family home had a contract out in December based on an initial asking of $3.995 million and now the townhouse has officially sold as of this past weekend. The final selling price has yet to be revealed on Streeteasy but should be close to the asking since the asking never saw any reductions over the months. The interior is a little to severely modern for our tastes but at least the hard work of updating the infrastructure has been done and hard finishes can ultimately be switched out which most buyers do anyways. With that said there are very few homes with wood porches along with front and back yards in the city and this block has always been one of the neighborhood's hidden gems for over a century. More on Astor Row can be found in our past post: LINK
