SEE: MOVIES AT MARCUS GARVEY PARK TONIGHT

Thursday, August 11th, 7:00PM-10:30PM, Judas and the Black Messiah screening at Marcus Garvey Park, West 122nd Street and Mount Morris Park West. In this award-winning historical drama directed by Shaka King, Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya), a young, charismatic activist, becomes Chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party - putting him directly in the crosshairs of corrupt government officials, the FBI, and the Chicago Police.  Movies begin at dusk. This event is FREE and open to the public. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, the screening may be canceled: LINK
