Harlem Bespoke: We received the new press about the reopening of The Porch on Sugar Hill at St. Nicholas by 147th Street and the eatery has just debuted a new barbecue menu headed up by a former pitmaster at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que!
Now noted as an American Smokehouse, this change in offerings will most likely make The Porch a dining destination in Hamilton Heights since BBQ cuisine is something not currently found north of 145th Street at this historic neighborhood in West Harlem. There will also be vegan alternatives on hand along with the expected classics such as baby back ribs and BBQ chicken at the eatery which will still have a focus on live music. Lunch and dinner service is now running 7 days a week. We will drop by during the fall season and provide an insider view for a future post so stay tuned.
