Harlem Bespoke: We noticed that the sidewalk shed over at the historic Alhambra building finally went down in the past month or so and decided to see if any old city photos existed showing the address back in the 1940s or earlier. As can be seen from the above archival images, the Harlem local landmark was an RKO movie theater back in the day but eventually became an event space decades later. Today a supermarket holds court on the lower level while a charter school is set to open above:
