Friday-Sunday, June 8th-10th, 7:30PM, The Fourth Annual Grey Gardens Staunch Celebration focuses on Jerry Torre, the "Marble Faun" of Grey Gardens at Maysles Cinema, 343 Lenox Avenue at 127th Street. For this year's Grey Gardens Staunch Celebration, alongside the two Maysles Brothers' Grey Gardens movies, the Maysles Cinema presents a very special first look at the new documentary The Marble Faun of Grey Gardens, about Grey Gardens subject and friend of the two Edith Beales, Jerry Torre, whom the two Edith Beales dubbed 'The Marble Faun', for his likeness to the titular Nathaniel Hawthorne character. ☞ EAT: Harlem Food Bar Serves it Up

Harlem Food Bar opens today at 5:00PM for dinner service but the Bespoke crew was able to get a preview of the new eatery on FDB/8th Avenue and 114th Street last night.  The menu for this American bistro is right on point with a selection that is mostly around $12 and the food offerings did not disappoint.  Highlights include a seriously good sampling of the burgers being served up which might actually be the best ones we have tried uptown and the mac & cheese squares which disappeared quickly.  Restauranteurs Scott and Ernie aim for a casual dining experience with quality food but also have a full wine selection along with bartenders that can mix up a specialty drink. ☞ INTRODUCING: The Harlem FDBA

The Daily News recently wrote a feature on the new Frederick Douglass Boulevard Business Alliances which focuses on mapping out the retailers in South Harlem.  New Businesses such as the Harlem Shambles or 5 & Diamond are among the 45 shops listed on a map designed by FDBA but older, more casual establishments such as bodegas and gas stations are also represented. Most of the map's destination spots are in the area spanning from Central Park North's 110th Street border at the south end and 125th Street on the north side which has been called South Harlem or SoHa in the past decade.
