INTRODUCING: CONSTRUCTION AT HARLEM CAFE

The large corner space on St. Nicholas Avenue just south of 125th Street is now going under some major construction.  There was an article this summer in the Post that mentioned Harlem Cafe would be opening at this spot but incorrectly states that Harlem Tavern was behind the venture.  One of the partners of Harlem Tavern is involved in this new eatery but apparently does not represent the whole of the aforementioned restaurant.  This location is right next to the express stop at 125th Street so the new business could do quite well if everything is done right.  Read more about Harlem Cafe in our past post: LINK

☞ BESPOKE: Maison Harlem Set to Open

Maison Harlem is probably the most anticipated new Harlem restaurant opening for the fall and the eatery's Facebook site just announced that everything is in place for an opening next week.  The French bistro at 341 St. Nicholas Avenue had their gas turned on recently and the liquor license was just approved so all is in order for an October debut.  Keep updated with Maison Harlem on the restaurant's Facebook site: LINK
