☞ INTRODUCING: Lenox Social Facade Finishes
The plywood fence finally went down at the Lenox Social and a Bespoke reader took a photo of the newly painted facade that has been newly revealed. Black classic woodwork now accents this corner storefront at Lenox and 126th Street along with red accent awning. This entire section was once a moderate looking row of commercial spaces but now the new proprietors have invested in a look that is contextual with the history of the building it resides within. New business such as the Red Rooster and Chez Lucienne should help this corner of upper Lenox take off while old timers such as Sylvia's will bring in the tourist crowds. In the meantime, the adjacent lounge appears to be really slow in setting an opening date: LINK

WOW...i love it.Classy, not overstated. The drop awning will be a beautiful touch.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! love it!!
ReplyDeletewelcome uptown people!!!!
much success.
Credit where credit's due. This looks absolutely brilliant. What a classy looking place and exactly the sort of look that fits in with the Lenox Ave aesthetic.
ReplyDeleteThis section of Harlem is awesome!
ReplyDeleteOooooohhhh! It's so pretty. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteExcellent, classy with old world joinery, looks great. The roll out awning indicates sidewalk seating, this will help Lenox Social to be noticed and attract customers from afar. Also, being a frontage, it sets the tone for both the Lenox block and 126th street block. This is a game changer for this long time neglected block and a significant addition to the booming upper Lenox. I wish them much success.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know when they're slated to open?
ReplyDeleteI just walked by....saw the inside wow great space inside.
ReplyDeleteThis is supposed to be a bar and grill with reasonably prices food and cocktails.18 craft brews, 22 foot long bar,and wifi in the afternoon, take that soHa.can't wait to for this place to open.
ReplyDeletesounds like my kinda place
ReplyDeleteWhy could the guys from Bleu Violin not have done something like this. This is simply brilliant and I thank Marcus for setting the tone!!
ReplyDeleteI will be there often. Welcome Lenox Social!!!!
how long until the graffiti and roll down gates come?
ReplyDeleteMike212, No problem, I would look at Red Rooster and Chez Lucienne across the street to see how roll down gates and graffiti are handled on this block, which is not an issue on the upper Lenox restaurant row.
ReplyDeletewelcome!! can't wait !!
ReplyDeleteMike why so negative dude?
ReplyDeleteYeah, Lenox keeps gathering momentum from 115th - 130th. Marcus definitely deserves a lot of credit for keeping the ball rolling.
ReplyDeleteFor anybody out there who wants to see an incredible basement/supper club type of area, drop into Red Rooster on Friday. They are opening the renovated space up downstairs and after seeing it last night I am still blown away. I can be a little bit cynical at times, but this was truly like stepping back in time with quite astounding attention to detail.
Stopped by for St. Patties Day and Lenox Social was open after 6 p.m. The interior is amazing! Really well done and so chill! Met the owner who said she lives on 126th and just wanted a place where people could hang without pretense. Couldn't agree more! And Lenox Social is right on the mark! Lovedit.
DeleteLooks great! Can't wait to see more.
