☞ DWELL: 116 West 132nd Street Brownstone

The house on West 132nd Street between Malcolm X and Adam C. Powell Boulevard reminded us of the great potential that has yet to be discovered in this part of town. Located on one of the most complete block of brownstones in Harlem, the house is priced at $549K since it is in distressed condition. This by far is one of the best deals we have seen and it does not seem to be an SRO. The house is currently corporate owned and the buyer will have to pay transfer taxes. On the plus side, there is one of the nicer community parks by the building, the first floor has handsome carved stone arch windows and the express 2,3 trains are in walking distance at 135th and 125th Street.
