☞ DWELL: 336 Convent Avenue Browntone

The house with the bold corner turret is on sale in the landmarked historic district of Hamilton Heights. Centrally located on the corner of 144th Street, the express train is literally a block away. Recently renovated in the interior, no photos have surfaced to show if the $2.5 million asking price has any merit. At about 5,000 square feet, the asking price is still half the current market average and the block is really one of the most beautiful in all of Manhattan. Although there are not many amenities in this mostly residential nabe, it takes only one stop on the express train to reach 125th street for all of one's consumer needs. Take the A,B,C,D train to 145th Street or take the 1 train to 145th if you don't mind walking over a couple of avenues.
