The 6th Annual East Harlem Arts Festival will be next Saturday, August 22nd from noon to 6 PM. Mark your calendars for this all day, cultural event that focuses on local artist vendors, musician and food. This festival also raises awareness and provides a way for East Harlem artist to raise funds for their work. Contact Pablo Torres (PTorres@cb.nyc.gov) to participate as an artist. There is a $20 application fee after submitting your name and a description of what you will be displaying. To attend the event this coming weekend, take the 6 train to the festival which will be centered around East 106th Street between Third and Lexington.
