☞ DWELL: 158 West 130th Street Brownstone
The brownstone on 158th East 130th Street between Malcolm X/Lenox Avenue and ACP/7th Avenue has a lot to offer but is currently in the higher range for a house above 125th Street. The asking price is $1.5 million for this 19' wide building on a very leafy, tree-lined block. All the original wood work is in well-preserved condition and the detail is extraordinary, including some impressive original Heart of Pine flooring. With a fully renovated backyard to boot, what's not to like? Actually, we are not sure either. Maybe this one will receive an offer that is within the ball park of its asking price after all. The closest subway is the 2,3 express train on 125th Street.
