☞ WALK: Open House New York 2009
Mark your calendars for next weekend's Open House New York event on Saturday and Sunday, October 10th -11th. OHNY is America's largest architectural and design event with tours happening all day, throughout each of the city's buroughs. As we mentioned before, its the only time in the year when one can go up the water tower at the High Bridge and many other buildings throughout the city. In and around Harlem, some highlights will include: the Apollo, Grant's Tomb, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the Little Red Lighthouse. We were at the OHNY preview of the West Harlem Piers last year, before it was opened to the public. This event is highly recommended. Check out the full schedule at the OHNY website: LINK.
