☞ DWELL: 54 West 130th Street in Contract
On the market since the very end of August, number 54 on Astor Row's West 130th Street is in contract. The asking price of $995K looked promising to many first time home buyers, but the upgrades needed for plumbing and electrical systems along with very outdated baths and kitchens turned off quite a few folks. The current single family home is still a charmer and, even in a difficult market, it sold within three months. Does anyone know the accepted offer? Read more in our past post on one of Harlem's most famous streets: LINK. To get to this area, take the 2,3 express train to 125th street and walk on Lenox to 130th street. I wonder whatever happened with the contract? It's been 3 1/2 months...
