☞ DWELL: 265 West 131st Street Brownstone
It's been over 6 months and the shell at 265 West 131st Street has just been reduce to the asking price of $399K. The property is basically a front wall standing on an open lot so it's really the land plus the bonus of a facade. At the original asking of $489K, most folks could not see the deal in it but with the current asking price, things might be looking up for this corner of 131st Street between ACP/75th Avenue and FDB/8th Avenue. The north side of the street are all intact brownstones but the south side view is a large housing project so it's definitely a property for those deal seekers out there. The 2,3 express train at 135th Street is a 5 minute walk from this block or the option is a 10 minute walk to the A,B,C, D express train at 125th Street. Photo by Ulysses
