☞ DWELL: 294 Manhattan Avenue Brownstone
Last September, 294 Manhattan Avenue came on the market for the asking price of $2.4 million and a reader recently asked us if there was any update to the property. The eight unit brownstone (second in from left of photo) facing Morningside Park has decreased its asking price by 13% this past December and is currently at $2.1 million. The building is definitely one of the more distinct ones in Morningside Heights but needs a lot of work and has many chopped up apartments. Public records has it that the recent owners bought the property for $1.8 million in 2007 so the price is probably not going to go lower than that in the future. The closest train is the B,C at 110th Street which is only two blocks south from this location. Photo by Ulysses
