☞ INTRODUCING: Yatenga French Bistro and Bar

There were a few skeptics about the quality of the new Yatenga French Bistro and Bar but we now have some confirmation that the place should be pretty spot on. We took the photos today of the storefront and the owners are working hard for their opening date tomorrow night, January 21st at 8:00 PM. The awning is up and the proprietors have added really nice touches with the glass panel, wood frame windows and restoring the cast iron details of the original shop facade. These are the same guys who run Shrine next door and we know by experience that they get it. This restaurant is the one to look out for in central Harlem in the new Year. Yatenga French Bistro will be open on the east side of 2269 Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard (7th Avenue), just below 134th Street, with the nearest trains the B or the 2,3 express at 135th Street. 2. I walked by this place this afternoon and it looked nice. Decent beer selection on tap, although why they have PBR, I have no idea.

  3. PBR is sort of an inside joke with hipsters. So bad it's good but goes back to being bad...

  4. Are there hipsters in Harlem that they're trying to attract?
