☞ DWELL: 259 West 137th Street Townhouse

Just listed on the market is a house asking for $2.495 million which can be found in between FDB/8th Avenue and ACP/7th Avenue on 137th Street. The 18 foot wide, estimated 5,000 square feet, 5 story, two family home at 259 West 137th Street is apparently recently renovated with HVAC and heated flooring but no pictures are available of the interior on line. The units are divided into a 4 bedroom triplex at the top floors and a 2 bedroom duplex below. For those concerned that that the area is too far away from major activity, the private parking area out back should be a big plus. This one is also interesting for the line of buildings on this end of the block do not have their original cornices at the rooflines (lower photo) and for the higher price point, most houses downtown or in Brooklyn tend to get into full facade restoration. The closest subways to this location are the B,C at 135th Street. Has anyone had a look at it? Photos by Ulysses
