During Prohibition (1919-1933), New York City’s speakeasies were home to drinking, dancing and the swinging sounds of the city’s Jazz Age, and there were over 32,000 establishments. Today, the tradition lives on at the Museum of the City of New York. Tickets: $15; $10 for Museum members, you will be secretly admitted with one FREE drink ticket and can check out special exhibitions, including Meet Flapper Jane, and enjoy the Fifth Avenue Terrace, with music and spirits of the era.
