☞ DWELL: 458 West 145th Street in Contract
It took six months to get into contract but the former Baton Rouge restaurant-townhouse at 458 West 145th Street (between Amsterdam and Convent) did it without lowering the asking price of $1.1 million. The 4 story, 15 foot wide, 3,176 square foot, historic Hamilton Heights townhouse had an industrial kitchen in the basement and each floor was set as a bar or dining level. It would probably be an easy one family conversion or the new owner could try the restaurant angle once more. The location is only a couple of blocks away from the 145th Street 1 train at Broadway or the A,B,C,D in the other direction so it does have potential. Stay tuned to see what it finally sold for in the next couple of months. Facade photo by Ulysses
