☞ DWELL: 466 West 144th Street Brownstone
OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, July 18th, 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. The 21 foot wide, 4,600 square foot, 12 room, 5 bedroom, 4 bath, townhouse at 466 West 144th Street in the Hamilton Heights Historic District is probably on one of the most amazing side street in all of Manhattan. This block between Amsterdam and Convent Avenue is the one all the tour guides use when talking about historic Harlem and with that in mind, the initial asking price from this time last year was at $2.8 million. So a year later, after several price chops, the 4-story, single family house is up on the market for $2 million. The express A,B,C,D lines are a block away at 145th Street and some of the basic emerging amenities can be found in the new condo retail spaces of that corridor. That said, the area is quiet and still needs better restaurants and retail. Facade photo by Ulysses

Now THAT is a bathroom!
ReplyDeleteAnd can we keep it quiet, please? Not every area of Harlem needs to be hyper-gentrified and overdeveloped.
