☞ REMEMBER: The Harlem Moon Bar & Grill

Artist Raymond Sicignano paints vanishing storefronts across America and he recently asked if we had any old images of the Harlem Moon Bar & Grill that used to be on ACP/7th Avenue and 136th Street. We couldn't actually find much out there on the establishment except for an address in an old Amsterdam News clip on its opening at this general location from 1941. The lower photo shows the Harlem Deli at 2320 ACP and we kind of feel that this might have been the corner based on the original painting. Does anyone remember the place and when it actually closed? Love the dimensional moon in the signage! We will have more then-and-now photos based on Mr. Sicignano's work in the future. Check out the artist website: www.RaizArt.com
