☞ WALK: Large Foot at Morningside Park
On the totally random siting note, we walked by Morningside Park this weekend and noticed a rather large foot scuplture in back of a small truck. This was right in front of new condo 88 Morningside (lower photo) at 122nd Street and Morningside Avenue and we hope it's not another one of those big condo art sculptures that seem to be popping up lately. Does anyone know who this foot belongs to? Photo by Ulysses

Big Foot!
ReplyDeleteWe walk our dog through the park most days and see the Foot & accompanying pick-up a lot of the time. So I think it's more someone who drives around a piece of art versus the art going anywhere specific. Not sure the rationale, but that's NYC I guess!
ReplyDeletenot the condo! smile
ReplyDeleteI know whose foot that is!!
ReplyDeleteThe foot is part of a multi-media sculpture/ performance piece called "Foot in the Truck" and is currently a work-in-progress. It was created by my friend Miggy Buck, a Harlem resident and wonderful artist. You can see more of her work at www.miggybuck.com
That foot has been there for ages!
ReplyDeleteGreat - and I thought it was NYPD stepping up their foot patrol!
ReplyDeleteI just saw the foot on the Upper East side. There must be more than one.
