☞ DWELL: 133 West 122nd Street Townhouse

One of the distinct Queen Anne style townhouses on West 122nd Street (just west of Lenox) was up on the market at the very start of the year for $2.89 million and we checked in to see if it eventually sold. The 17 foot wide, 3,830 square foot building was renovated by a notable architect a couple of years back, has all the details intact along with a fully upgraded infrastructure and new period appropriate baths and kitchens. DOB job permits show that the house was legally converted from an SRO to single-family in 2008 but the summary page still has it as SRO restricted (many have suggested the DOB front page is not always up to date). Anyways, the listing was pulled off the market three months from its initial listing date and there seemed to have been an attempt to have it rented out. Has anyone looked at this house? 1. Yes, I've looked at it and thats all. Its on my way to Pelham Fritz recreation center. I'm sure its a fine house, just a bit over the top for my tastes.

  2. Lovely street to live on (yes, I am biased). Haven't seen the inside, but the exterior of this place alone is stunning.
