Another townhouse on Hamilton Place has recently arrived on the market and the interior to this one is pretty on point. Number 103 Hamiltion place (located just before 142nd Street) is the center building in the top photo and the single family, 16 foot wide, 3,192 square foot home has 4 bedroom, 3 baths altogether with 6 decorative fireplaces along with central air. Everything looks period appropriate but the appliance are all modern and there's a sound system in place that is connected to even the bathrooms. Instead of looking over the top, all the modern conveniences are hidden away in a detail sensitive restoration. The asking is at $1.35 million and this immediate area in Hamilton Heights is a good 4-6 block walk to either the 1 train at 137th or the express A,B,C,D at 145th. There's the gym-Starbucks-supermarket on 145th Street but its pretty much residential otherwise. The downside would be that this row of houses are not on a side street and are surrounded by taller rental buildings.
Oh my. Pretty. Although I am not so sure about the very high wainscoting in such a small room. . .ReplyDelete
And hey—gym, supermarket, Starbucks. Add a liquor store and really, what else do you need?
I'll take it! That price is excellent for a move-in condition townhouse in Hamilton Heights. Hamilton Place is a quiet enough street; it's not Broadway. Should sell very quickly, I think.ReplyDelete
GREAT Place ...... I need to earn a few more dollars for it.....It is great !ReplyDelete
This has everything I could dream of in a home. I really couldn't ask for anything else. Its stunning. In addition to money much thought went into creating this interior.ReplyDelete
Over priced? You have to be kidding. That place is absolutely stunning and I think the price is just about spot on. Shame I have about enough $ for a packet of chips.ReplyDelete
A minor detail but I love the window boxes.ReplyDelete
