☞ DWELL: 1990 Madison Avenue Back on Market
Back in July, the 20 foot wide, 15-unit brownstone SRO at 1990 Madison Avenue and 127th finally went into contract but that deal has since fallen through. After being on the market for 2 years and an initial asking price of about $1.3 million, the house is now at $875K. One of the major hinderances beside needing a new Certificate of Non Harassment is that the neighboring building at 1992 Madison is a burnt out condo conversion that had an issue with squatters in the past. So it's all cash only now for this wide, chopped up brownstone on a fairly decent looking block.
