☞ DWELL: 55 West 126th Street Brownstone

Another SRO building that's been on the market for sometimes is the brownstone at 55 West 126th Street. The building is apparently almost 20 foot wide (but looks smaller?), has at least six units currently and is located next to an open lot. This block of 126th is pretty central in location but there are still a handful of boarded up buildings and vacant lots along the ways.  The property first appeared in 2007 with a $1.7 million asking price and has been on-and-off the market until reaching the current price of $1.35 million. According to the broker, the Certificate of Non Harassment has expired but DOB approved renovation plans are on file. Thoughts?
