☞ EAT: Frizzante Still Closed
Shuttered for two weeks now, it seems that South Harlem's Frizzante is definitely having some major issues. Rumors had it that a week-long renovation was at hand when the eatery at 2168 FDB/8th Avenue and West 117th Street shuttered in late October but not much has since happened. Usually signs are set up to announce to customers that the restaurant will be open soon or the windows are at least covered in paper to conceal any clutter made by the renovations. We walked by the corner space several times these past couple of weeks and have not seen any activity. Does anyone have any clue to what's going on?

Frizzante notwithstanding, great story on the Harlem Drinking & Dining Renaissance here.

Very sad, looks like Frizzante has been sent to jail.
ReplyDeleteI walked by Frizzante today and noticed the lights were on. I saw a few people sitting at various tables conducting what looked like interviews. Maybe they are giving the whole a establishment a little shake up. For the neighborhoods sake I hope they open up and stronger than before. We need more quality dining options up here in SoHa!!!
ReplyDeleteI really hope they reopen with a NEW CHEF!
