☞ SEE: Around Harlem This Weekend




The Onaje Allan Gumbs Trio, Saturday, November 20th at Lenox Lounge. Hang out in the legendary Zebra Room and check out one of the most historic jazz spots in Harlem.  Classic jazz shows happen in three sets starting at 8:30 PM, 10:00 PM and 11:30 PM. The Dandy Lion Photo Salon takes place at Harlem PoP on Sunday, November 21st from 4pm to 9pm and will feature complimentary style portraits by fashion photographers as well as a talk on the "Dandy Lion"; who is he and how he inspired the current exhibition. The evening will close with the screening of world-renown documentary "The Importance of Being Elegant" that looks at the members of "Le Sape," the dandies of the Congo, who despite hardship take the art of style to a whole new level. Sunday, November 21st, 10:45 AM at Riverside Church.  In the wake of his recently announced early retirement, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire, The Right Reverend V. Comedy COVO, Sunday, November 21st, 7:30 PM, at the Upstairs Lounge at Covo. Check out the FREE monthly comedy show with some of NYC's hottest comedians in West Harlem's coolest lounge. This event is hosted by NYC comedian William Mullin and features comics from Comedy Central, VH1, and HBO.
