☞ READ: More on Hot Bread Kitchen

There's another write-up on Hot Bread Kitchen's arrival at La Marqueta in the New York Times today: LINK.  In the short article, it is revealed that the city is trying to replicate the success of the Essex Market on the Lower East Side and that Hot Bread Kitchen's 4,600 square foot facility has a dual use.  One side houses the wholesale business and training programs while additional baking ovens are available to rent out to local businesses on the other half (for a low hourly rate).  We had posted on East Harlem's historic La Marqueta last week and suggested that maybe some of the new baking vendors should also open up a retail operation within the main market space and Hot Bread Kitchen just confirmed that they already have plans to set it up: LINK
