☞ DWELL: 319 East 116th Sold in January
Public records show that 4-family brownstone at 319 East 116th Street recently sold in January. The facade of the 16.5 foot townhouse wasn't winning any points since it was probably re-surfaced sometimes in the 1970's. The listing also mentioned that a full upgrade of the electrical and plumbing systems had been needed for the entire building. An initial asking price of $995K back last August seemed to have attracted buyers quickly since the house went into contract a couple of months later. After the deal closed recently, this fixer-upper between First and Second Avenue ended up at the final price of $785K.
