☞ EAT: Rack and Soul on Television
New York magazine reports that Rack and Soul at 258 West 109th Street (east of Broadway) just filmed a segment of yesterday for the television show Man Vs. Food for the Travel Channel: LINK. The episode will feature three Harlem Globetrotters trying to finish off one of the eatery's spicy pulled-pork sandwiches but readers might want to drop by to check out the fried chicken. This old school shack of southern comfort also has Central Harlem's own Charles Gabriel behind the kitchen: LINK. We actually really like the interior to this casual restaurant so check it out if you haven't already. Interestingly enough, the website already has the press announcement up for the TV show: www.RackandSoul.com. Lower photo courtesy Shawna Revindra

Looks a lot more hospitable than the seating at Charles Country Pan Fried Chicken

ReplyDeletegood food there, but I personally don't consider morningside heights part of harlem. Especially below 110th st.
