The Hamilton Heights house at 527 West 142nd Street (at center of top photo) was one of the more ornate interiors on the market in 2010 but the $2.3 million price range did not attract any buyers. Checking up on the status of the 20 foot wide townhouse shows that the listing has been pulled off the market as of December. This block is just off of Broadway which hasn't really developed much in better retail options and a potential buyer would probably be one who wants a 4,250 square foot unique home but doesn't mind having parking off site to get around. Now that houses within this price range are starting to appear on the market again, this property might be one to look out for in 2011 if it returns.
